Talk to Quinton today!!

FROM US TO YOU DURING THE COVID19 LOCKDOWN. WHAT IT MEANS FOR US, YOU, OUR ROLE PLAYERS, OUR DAY TO DAY ENVIRONMENT. HERE'S TO SETTING UP A NEW 21 DAY ROUTINE TO MAKE THE BEST WE CAN OF A CHALLENGING SITUATION.

WHAT NOW?

Amid a challenging time for many, we are lucky to have the means available to us to continue in most areas and still be of service to you. Thus we remain for the most part “fully operational” as and how we can.
With the restrictions implemented for a “lock down” we respect the health and wellness of all of our clients, you, our faithful buyers, sellers, service providers and role players. We also greatly respect our President’s call to help flatten the curve and save the lives of our fellow citizens.

Also in accordance with the President's address, we do not form part of essential services and as such must suspend normal operations. Our role players also rely largely on service providers, the municipality and the deeds offices which are also not able to operate normally during this time, if not closed entirely. This all collectively means that we may not be able to fully provide the normal standard of service to you that we might like, however we will do everything we can to do the best we can.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR US:

• If you need to talk to us, enquire about a property etc, Quinton will still be reachable on his cell as always 0826756411, and we will still be reachable via email info@clayziprop.co.za for all communications and we will do as much as we can.

• Our website is still fully active as are our social media platforms which will continue 100% as our marketing person is able to safely manage these remotely during isolation.

• Viewings are on hold till after 17 April. Please continue to communicate with us to book your viewings from 17 April onwards. Keep in mind that many will be doing the same so try to plan ahead and book your viewing slots now.

• Office hours remain the same 9-4 Monday-Friday, with the exception of some understandable delays due to limited access here and there. Especially should internet ore cell networks be interrupted for any reason.

• Please keep connecting with us, call, mail, facebook, instagram – we’re still here!

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR DEALS THAT ARE CURRENTLY UNDERWAY:

• The Deeds office has shut down, thus delaying any pending transfers of immovable property. If your property deal has been lodged and was awaiting registration, this will unfortunately not happen by dates originally set out.

• Many conveyance attorneys have crafted measures to continue to work remotely and thus will remain of service to us and you however possible should you be in the middle of a transaction. Thank you!

• Compliance certifications may see delays should service providers and contractors not be able to travel and interact to administer inspections.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR EVERONE ON THE GROUND:

• Only gazetted essential services are authorised to continue over the lockdown period; we are therefore expecting security, cleaning and refuse removal, together with emergency maintenance services to continue throughout.

• There are public transport and capacity dependencies which may well delay or disrupt service delivery standards to some extent. Please report any concerns to investigate and resolve on a best effort basis.

TIPS TO OBSERVE:

• Stay home. Every time you place yourself in a space with another person, you are choosing to be the possible cause of spread and harm to others. If you must, you know what to do via diligent hygiene, face masks & disinfectant.

• Devise a sustainable and positive plan to continue working remotely if this is available to you, and draw clear lines between work times and home life.

• Set up a positive routine for your new daily life adapting to your new daily environment. This will help keep you stable, productive, focused, motivated, calm and compassionate.

• Include healthy nutrition, physical exercise, mental stimulation and mental wellbeing. (there are plenty Youtube and Internet TV channels to utilise here), and a clear work schedule (if you are able to work remotely).

• Be mindful of your security and safety measures.

• Be kind.

NAVIGATING THIS TIME:

We are proud of our President’s complex decision which could not have come easily. But, it is not just 21 days. We should be mindful of the repercussions of everyone “shutting down” their services in the economy for almost a month. The work load, playing catch-up physically, mentally and financially will be an enormous strain for many in the coming months. We owe it to you and ourselves to continue working remotely if this is available to us, so let’s stay connected if we can, and perhaps also observe respectful contact times whilst many will be merging their home lives with work hours.

It’s vital that we work together and this starts with abiding by the restrictions set out, to give “the curve” it’s best chance to flatten, and of course to enable medical facilities to cope with patient care. Let’s help where we can, think of those in marginalised areas, be kind and respectful to ourselves and those around us and be cognisant of the greater picture and life AFTER lock-down. We may even have to practice some industrial sized patience for everyone that is not able to carry out their services 100% and this could largely be due to the fact that they rely on others to carry out theirs, whom in effect cannot, and so the butterfly-effect is enabled.
This would also likely unfortunately take a further toll in the crime arena. Desperate times call for desperate measures and so we should be extra vigilant at this time.

THANK YOU

We also take this time to thank all crucial service personnel, medical staff and essential service providers for their incredible dedication and commitment amid the risks to themselves and their families during this time.

KEEP IN “VIRTUAL TOUCH” – WE ARE STILL HERE!

They say it takes 21 days to break a habit or to effect a new one. Let’s choose wisely, use this time for the good of ourselves and all, be safe and mindful! It’s in our hands, we are in it together. Be safe, well and healthy, and we send you all good thoughts and virtual high-fives.
